WHO WE ARE
Dr John Odling-Smee

Emeritus Research Fellow, Mansfield College at the University of Oxford. Prior to retirement, he lectured in Biological Anthropology at Oxford. He has published over 100 articles in prominent scientific journals on the topics of animal learning, its role in evolution, and more recently on niche construction. A Leverhulme fellowship led to his ongoing collaboration with Kevin Laland and Marc Feldman, and to the present project on niche construction.

Prof Kevin N. Laland
Professor of Biology at the University of St Andrews. His research employs both experimental and theoretical methods to investigate a range of topics related to animal (including human) behaviour and evolution, particularly niche construction, social learning, and gene-culture co-evolution. He is the author of over 170 scientific articles and 8 books.Website

Prof Marc Feldman
Professor of Biological Sciences at Stanford University, USA.
Research interests include using mathematical modeling techniques
in order to study problems in evolutionary biology, human genetics, niche construction,
and gene-culture co-evolution. He is the author of over 400 papers on these topics.
